I didn't see the thread. While I want to defend him, I think he shouldn't have used notebook paper as people consider that cheap. Whereas newsprint is okay....
I always take pictures of the packaging process and ask the buyer if he feels the packaging is sufficient.

If there are any qualms afterwards, I'll just post where the buyer felt it was sufficient. That should clear my name with the forum.

But I am never cheap on the packaging. That is why I quit selling those eDs. It was more expensive to ship than the money I got. I could have saved money by throwing it in the trash.

Good idea on the photos. I guess another alternative would be to take it it a ups store and let them package it. Downside = they probably will do not do as good a job and I feel certain they would be more expensive. Upside= how the hell would UPS deny the claim on the basis of packing?

They have done it before. I think in the twisted / rtillaree thread the UPS person dropped the product and broke it....or I could be getting that confused with another thread. Either way...UPS didn't want to handle it because it was broken before they shipped it.

Hah, you know I think I remember that now not about the dropping part but that it went through a UPS store. Oh well, I think I could do a better job than that fewl Twistid at getting them to pay.
