I found out about a particular school in my area, BJU. Short and blunt, they are a bunch Christians psychos that treat college like they do any other grade school church activities.

9887 has a 7 band EQ where the 86 doesn't. That is the only major difference I think. The display and animations is more fluid and cleaner on the 86 imo.

But does the 87 require imprint for eq, because that is what is implied in the thread.

No it doesnt. Im pretty sure you can still access the 7 band eq without the imprint software/hardware.
