What needs to be here?
I was doing some looking around on etronics and come across a few amplifers that I want to know some info about. The first one is a Crunch Amplifier. The reason I ask about these amps is that they seem to put out decent power for the price, take this one for example....

It says 700 watts x 2 at 4ohms bridged. This seems like alot of power for only 140 dollars. But what has me is that ive seen a website, cant remember what it was, that had Crunch, Hifonics, and another good company on it, and it looked like they are all the same manufacturer or whatnot. Thats what has me confused, how legit are these amps?

My next question is about a lanzar amplifier. My friend has two Pioneer Premier Dual VC subs with a rating of 400/800 watts and were needing an amp to power them, preferably under about 175 dollars without shipping. We got to looking and we found a 2000 watt Lanzar amplifier that has a rating of 500wattsx2 @4OHMS, and 800wattsx2 @2ohms. I know they cant be right, but would they be close to these numbers? As long as they are close, within 100-150 watts of their rated power then we would be happy. Here is a link to amplifier.

Ive heard mixed opinions about their amplifiers and was wondering how good they are, it will not be abused by no means, he isnt a gain master by no means, he just wants something that will hit harder then hell everynow and then to outdo a few people thats all. Thanx for any help you can provide.

Don't have time to comment on the Crunch amp now, but I would suggest a Soundstream Picasso for the subs...~900 RMS split between the two, and 179.99 shipped to your door.
Oh yeah http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=12303
I personally like Lanzar's stuff, and I think the 268 would be more than sufficient to run a couple 400w 12's. I think you should also check out the Lanzar Optidrive 500.2. There are a couple used ones on ebay right now. Those amps are high end quality and regularly sell for about 1/4 of their retail cost, and it WILL without a doubt do 500x2 at 2 ohms stereo.

With all that being said - I seriously doubt you can top that Soundstream deal for a GOOD, NEW amp with a helluva lot of power.
