My Denon amp just blew a channel and I decided it wouldn't be worth fixing so I did a little searching for a 2 channel replacement that would have the same OR more wattage. I've heard that Crunch is decent and I'm faaar from trying to have a SQ system. I did a little bit of looking and ended up at Ikesound. I found this amp for only $107.00 INCLUDING shipping....I figured for the price it couldn't hurt to try it but thought I'd like to see if anyone else had any experience with it.....

It would be nice to see the manual with some semi-realistic RMS ratings, or at least what size fuses are on it. The 2x350 rating is a "dynamic power" rating - which really doesn't tell you anything.

Price puts it in the 100x2/300x1 range for a budget amp. If it does something in that neighborhood $107 should be a good buy.

I believe it has 2 40amp fuses....But, for the price I think I'll be somewhat pleased....

i think they do real close to exactely 1/2 what the rated power is

so cut the numbers in 1/2 and your real close to what they put out

less rise and Voltage drop

again they are not expensive amps so for $140 shipped you really get a 175 x 2 @ 4 ohm, 350 x 2 @ 2 ohm , 700 bridged @ 4 ohm

i really like the small footprint, finish is very good, sound quality is not bad at all, price is great

i think you will like it
Okay....I got the amp today....AND I had a good experience with Ikesound...

Anyway, I wanted to run 4 gauge wires to it but I didn't have any spade connectors so I had decided that I would just see if I could get the bare wire to fit under the mounting screw...Well....Unfortunately, that didn't work, the 4 gauge was just too big.....I then just decided to use the existing 8 gauge wires I had and put 2 of them on both the power and ground with the spade connectors I had. That worked okay....

Anyway....After getting that resolved, I powered it up and it sounds good and seemed to play as Loud, or even louder than my Denon.....

Sound quality was not as accurate as the Denon though....But, the Denon was considered an audiophile amp when it was made so I'm not really comparing Apples to Apples here....

I've decided that I'm gonna get the Denon fixed.....But after it's fixed, I may sell it and get a higher quality "newer" amp and then sell the Crunch.....I'll let the Crunch suit my needs for now but I'm realizing I had a very high quality amp to replace and didn't even know it (I obtained the Denon in a trade so I didn't know its history)....Check out what I found on another forum about the Denon:

This is a very rare amp. That never made it to US soil. They were only sold over seas. It is very hi-end amp. Designed with audiophile grade components throughout to compliment the dct-z1.

These were the last automotive amps that DENON made just to prove a point that they are the Ultimate in car audio amplifiers period.

DENON ran at a major loss producing these amps in a very small limited batch just to prove their point.

These amps are meant for component speakers and will run down to 1 ohm stereo! Yes 1 ohm stereo and major power hungry with 3 x 30 amp fuses. They weigh a ton and are never seen on the for sale market.
