crunch amp?

i have a crunch gpv2000.1d amp wired up to 2 12 1600w total and on my bass remote the light turns red wen the bass hits and i looked on the amp and the protect light fads in and out with the bass too is this hard on my amp?

my guess is that you are running your amp at too low of an impedance load, causing it to shut down. check your wiring from the amp to the speaker.
