crossover question?

not all amps have ones built in

the amp's ones may not cover the ranges you desire

external ones are usually higher quality and more precise

if you are running a 2 pair of 4 ohm speakers off of 2 channels of an amp to run it at 2 ohms, is there any way to run the speakers at different crossover points? ie pair of midbass drivers and a pair of front dash 4x6's?

with passive cross overs you could, but you would probably need custom designed ones to get the frequencies you want

what about capaciters or bass blockers for the 4x6's, would that work? set the amps crossver for th midbass drivers and the caps on the 4x6's to reduce the bass in them?

the 4x6s would still only get the range of frequencies you selected for the midbasses

wouldnt the blockers remove the lower end to th3 4x6's, i mean if i wanted them to?
