Crossfire CFA602 amp question

I just got a second type R 12" sub and I am trying to use this amp for both subs. According to the specs, it should be able to do it. I have both subs wired together into 4 ohms and the amp bridged so the amp should be putting out 600wX1 at 4 ohm(300w at each sub). The amp is getting very very hot, even with a fan on it, even at 2/3 gain. My question is how hot is too hot for this amp? Should I not worry about it if it doesn't go into thermal? I am debating wether this amp can push these two subs correctly, btw, they are last years versions of the type R. Is there an amp out there that would push 300w or more at 4 ohm that doesnt cost multiple hundreds of dollars. Also, is this amp still available anywere? LMK. thanks
