Bypassing a factory equalizer......

I recently called Crutchfield to ask them about ym clipping problem with a CD player I brought there......they said to just bypass the factory equalizer?

How do i do that? Do I just hook up my speakers to them? Will my clipping go away if I unplugg the Rear hatch speakers and the dash and just keep my two 6x9's?

Total lack of information here.

#1: Tell us what equipment you have. Not just "A CD player and some speakers", give us actual model #'s if at all possible.

#2: Tell us what you are trying to do, how you have your stereo configured (what goes where) and where you have your settings set to (like gain, boost, etc etc). I.E. Are you trying to run your interior speakers from an external amplifier? Run your interior speakers from the HU? What vehicle is this in? Did you have to retain the factory CD player in this vehicle? What's going on here?

#3: Tell us specific what the problem is? What's clipping? How do you know? Etc etc.

Can only trouble shoot a problem if we actually have information about it.
