Going to run AQ SDC2.512.
16"*2.2 came out to a slot port dimension of 2.56"x13.75".
Yes it is a dual layer top, 2 full sheets besides the port slot and the sub cutout.. have done a few in the past for flush mounts and it worked out well for me.

This will be in the trunk of a tbird and run off a aq1200d. package shelf will be opened up a bit and the arm rest in the back seat will also be opened up. Will be firing upwards.
So this is what I came up with..For best results the SDC2.512 likes 1.8-2.5 net ported boxes tuned at 36- 38hz. 2.2 net cubes is ideal. The sub displaces .10 cubic foot. Allow 16 sq" of port opening area per net cubic foot of box volume and make the port 20" for 38hz and 24" long for 36Hz.
Your box should be 2.2 cubes plus .10(sub displacement) plus .40 (port displacement 38hz) for a total of 2.7 gross internal volume including sub and port displacements. If you want to tune to 36hz increase the gross internal volume to 2.8 cubic ft
