I plan on hooking them up in various rides...they claim 160 rms...not sure if that is each or per pair...since they run $400+ a pair...I don't want to mess them up.....

That is per pair. clean power with the low end controlled they will handle more

I would have no problem putting a sundown 100.2 to them. if they were xover at a fairly high point, they probably could take the 160. I run my 6.5s on my sundowns and they could take more. I have them at 300 and up

I know the speaker wire is beefy as hell on these...not like that cheap high gauge crap you get with most speakers....

I don't know about all that, but I have run the hell out of them with the sundowns and they have taken it all. So far:laugh:
