i hated when he walked across the lake cuz they had boats and stuff goin by.......and everytime a wake would hit him the camera would cut away. ****it.

its staged. When he drops his shoe, there is a gap. He takes a larger step over it.

Also, at 1:29 you can see the platforms edge.
