I've heard great things about crescedo and seen good clamp results...

Seems to good to be true given the price. Now for sh1ts and giggles would a Crscendo 2200 push a 2k sub better than... Let's say a sundown 1500D would?

Prett much a higher quality vs higher output comparison. In my situation I'm looking to power an hdc3 18 d2. Copper coil. Kinda seeing if i should spend the extra $100 for a sundown 1500. Cause my electrical is good for 1.5k. 2200 might be pushing it.

Becauase the same identical internals become so much better when the heatsink sais DC on it.

OP, you likely won't hear the difference between 1500 and 2K. Will be perhaps .5dB. Go with whichever you can get the best price on.
