I need some help. Here is a sorry excuse of a picture to show you all what I need help with.

I need some idea on how to attach the speaker box to the top of the sub box. It has to look good too. Any help is greatly appreciated

*edit* I want space in between the top of the sub box and the bottom of the speaker box.

Are the two boxes going to be finished the same? (painted, carpeted, whatever the same)

If so...before you mount the 6.5"ers into the speaker box simply bolt it to the sub box, provided doing so won't drive screws into your subs.

I'm sure there's more artistic ways of doing it but that's the first thing that crossed my mind.

prowler...the subs are in the way

niggz....I do not want them to be actually mounted directly on top. I want space in between the top of the sub box and the bottom of the speaker box. I should have made that clear before.

maybe glass 2 on each side and curve them around, i think that would look prety cool.maybe 2 on bottom and 2 on top pointing towards each other with the middle in between each speaker?

make some posts out of 1 inch mdf and put em on the cournes and in the center like this

Yup....I'd use some PVC pipe (painted or wrapped in carpet or whatever) to cover the allthread.

I like the MDF idea tmilla has....

And it prolly is the simplest and easiest to do.

mount brackets to the back of the board and mount to wall behind subs to make it look like it is "floating" above the sub box.
