i'm putting burberry over my gf's box. is this one for your girl? if it's for you, i don't know how much diamond plate costs, but that'd be tight to put it around the box.

hmmm what about... putting that metal finish on... and then screwing plexiglass over it... so that the box will be still "square" with the finish but then the plexiglass will screw over the wood to give it a "glass" look?

ok this is how I picture it

Wood...

Paint with metalish finish to it...

Pelxiglass OVER that... screwed over the finish/wood...

WITH the sub PUSHED back into the box on a second baffle.... so that its FLUSH against the front baffle...? sound cool?

Plexi is expensive, not to mention that shipping that speaker box as bare MDF is going to be close to the weight limit fedex allows, adding more may not be an option.

Well If you plan on suing the XXX I say invert mount that *****!! do something like mouting the sub and amp on the same structure all pretty
