ive never built a box

[noob with an RS 10+ year member]

hey, i've never built a box before. but i've installed a whole system and MDF brackets for my mids. i'm planning to get a 12 inch Image dynamics sub but don't know where to get the box for it from. i'd rather build one myself but i've never built one before and am not sure if its easy as it sounds.. is there large room for error or little..? i don't want to make ONE little mistake and destroy the performance of the box. i'm pretty sure i can do it as long as i get the idea of some main pointers or guidelines to use when building it.. but i just don't know where to start AT ALL. what are some GOOD RESOURCES to read up on building a box?
