I just picked up 6 of these from a shop not to far from me. The shop owner has roughly 40 of them left and also about the same amount of SP1700s. I only purchased the SPV70s because that was all I needed and have pics of some here for everyone but I saw some SP1700s and they looked near flawless.

Some of the batteries were slightly used but show no signs other than some possible scratches on the black metal holder. Other than that they are perfect. The shop owner does not go to forums due to his busy schedule but has asked me to see if anyone else would be interested in them.

$75 each = SPV70

$125 each = SP1700

Prices do not include shipping. Please try and find quotes on your own if possible as I do not plan on getting a hundred people quotes. The batts weigh roughly 60lbs and the box dimensions are close to 16x8x10. If anyone has any questions please let me know. I am not in this to make a profit as I am selling these batts for what he sold mine to me for. The owner just said if I can sell some for him he will help me out with some accessories if needed. Thanks

"Sorry, time and cost caculator is not available at this time. Please try again later"

I try again later, but If I can get them both shipped for around $100 or less, I definitely want two of them.

Well the midwest area seemed to have quotes at about $25 a peice so Im going to guess you see quotes around $30-$35. Just so you know so it may just be over $100 each.

Thats great cuz what I meant was I didn't want to spend much more than $100 in just shipping costs for the pair, so you can put me down for two of the spv70s. Send me a pm to make the arrangements, and thanks for the hookup.

Yea, I just noticed UPS was back up again. Anyway, I'm in Joplin, MO 64804. BTW, if it would be cheaper to ship to a business address, I could get them sent to the truck shop I work for.

Got a question for some of you more advanced folks... How do i know if i need a joint like this.. I have a HO alt coming.. thinking that it is going to fix dimming lights and stuff... which it should.. is the battery deal more of a premptive measure..?? and if so, given never had one before.. difficult to install? I have done my three amp and HOAlt installs before on buddies rig, so probably can figure it out.. but just wanted to hear what someone(s) ideas opion(s) might be??? If it helps - got 2 PG MS275's and MS2250TA.. if that means anything for this/anyone???

Pls & Thx

Mh

I'm not the most experienced but a battery normally will always be a good addition. You can just run a fused power cable from the front battery to the back battery, then either ground the second battery in the back or run a seperate ground to the battery up front.

Batt will store more power, for when the amp draws more or also of course if the car is off or at a lower rpm where it will not be getting as much power from the alt. Install is very simple as running a power to back with fuses and then grounding the batt in the back. Whether or not you could use one? I would say yes, but dont just listen to me cause im selling them im sure someone else can chime in here too.

I also forgot to mention that I do have an alumapro 5farad cap.. and that was the first the first of the electrical componants to go in.. lights were dimmming bad... so i ordered a HOAlt.. not installed yet.. but my buddy has cap (not alumapro) but 1.5 farad and HOAlt and his lights no more dimming. Just trying to decide if I should/need one of these here. B/C If I do I have another friend that will also need one, as her system is almost identical to mine.

So if I do incorporate a battery in the back.. run the front to the back and then to cap and then to amps.. cap should be last in line to the amps, right? HAte sounding stupid about this stuff... just want to be sure i'm doing it right, as I am also setting up the local gas station gurl with system as well..

AND if I do decide to go with one or two of these here how do i know which one is best suited... I have, as mentioned before, Ol'skool PG Amps, namely: ms2250 (2ohm stereo 500wX2) and two (2) ms275's (2-ohm stereo on each which is 140wx2 times two amps) so all together there is 1560watts possible i guess if bbbumped, right? but gains are way down sure that comes into play a bit as well.

Thanks guys.
