Craftsman vs. snap on. worth a fight??

what is the difference???

I almost got into a fist fight w my step dad about this subject...

He wa drinking i wasnt, and im a carpenter and hes an accountent... He tries ton argue and fight w me even after i tell him snap on is amuch higher quality product, but it really doesnt matter since i can return any / or every craftsman tool ive ever bought

I use all Craftsman...so much cheaper, and like you said, they'll replace everything for you.

Craftsman is better. Cheaper and if you break them, you take them back. Sure you can do the same with Snap-ON, but you have to wait on the truck to come by, and you have to mortgage your house to buy a screwdriver.

Craftsman ftw man. I jsut had a craftsman socket go bad last week. Went by sears, they handed me a rebuild kit, i went home, snapped the pin out, put the all new stuff in, and put the new pin in, and was good to go.

I like them both, i have Craftsman and at school we used Snap-On. i really didn't prefer one over the other, a tool is a tool. IMO

Im not impressed with snapon, me and my roomate both use our drills daily, and i bought a craftsman used for 40$ on ebay about 4 years ago and its still going strong. He bought 3 snapon drills in that time, each of them broke, one after another, first losing their variable speed capabilities, then stopping altogether. They were each different models/voltages, and aquired new, from different places at different times.

once the third one broke even he finnaly gave up on the brand, and picked up a dewalt, its been doing good, but he still paid 6X as much as my crasftsman

hand tools i dont really really care, as long as it works. power tools on the other hand i like my snap on stuff.
