Well i was screwin in my new PG RSD'S speakers on the door and slipped and hit my speaker. It didnt actually make a whole but a little slit like this

What can i use to fix that? and i noticed it didnt really effect quality that much but for now i just put some electrcial tape over it

I poked a hole through the cone of my old Concept 10's, and I filled it with epoxy. It held for about 6 months until I smoked the voice coils, and it was still holdin strong when they blew.

So that's my suggestion.

Even thought it isnt a sub its a PG RSD coaxial the shell was actually kinda hard to i dunoo how to just slit like that where can i buy epoxy at?

X how ever many more times epoxy was said.

just ask for 2 part epoxy in a syringe.

as etac said.. you won't need much of any. mix a small amount an take a Q-tip. load the Q-tip with some of the mixed epoxy and run a thin coat along the crack. do it on the back side of the speaker if possible to reduce the cosmetic damage if you are worried about it. let sit for a day or 12 hours even.

So just go in there and ask for epoxy and they will know what im talkin about?
I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. The employees at my local hardware stores are idiots. All your looking for is a 2-Part epoxy that is made for, or works on plastics. If you have a Hobby Shop near you they will have it too.

alright well will i still be able to play the speaker for now? or is it just gonna make it worse i got it sealed pretty well with electrical tape
