Could it be 4ohm?

Ingle, you PM'd me and I tried to PM you back but your box is full....
The factory amp is pretty easy to access, it is behind the glove comparment.
then do what i told you to do already.

run wires from your head unit to your factory amp. dont hook thoes to the amp.. but the wires that go from the amp to the speakers. this way you use the factory wires running to each door instead of having to run new wires to each door.

at the same spot, the factory amp is where you check to see how many ohms the speakers are. disconnect and check the wires one by one off the amp and check the ohm rating. thats how you find out exactly what the final impedance is for your door speakers.

well since I was banned from the forum for a few days I haven't been able to post an update

so here it is

I took out the front right speaker to see what the wiring looked like. The speaker was 2ohm and the tweeter was 2ohm. The tweeter plus and negitive wires were plugged into the speakers positive and negative terminals. Does this mean that if I send a 4ohm signal that 2ohms will go to the tweeter and two to the speaker?

 
UPDATE

I got it all hooked up to my head unit. I didn't run new wires, just spliced them from the stock amp. The amp in the HU is powerin all of the speakers and it sounds really nice, a lot better than the stock system. I can only imagine what it will be like once I get componets and compent amp. The only thing I am worried about is my sub, I don't think it is loud enough.. but then again there is something probably off in my settings. Thanks for all of the help guys, definitly saved me 200 bucks installing this myself!
