Could I fix this amp?

A few months back my Kenwood Kac 9105D got wet in my trunk due to a broken window seal, and I didn't know it had gotten wet and turned the car on and well it hasn't worked since. I mean no smoke or smell ever came from the amp. I can't even 100% verify that it got wet, but there was dampness around the amp so that is what I assumed. I took the amp apart a few weeks after the incident and I didn't see anything that look burned up... Except this one little piece of metal, it looked like a ground for the amp, there was like 8 of them on the circuit board with tiny screws through the middle of them to hold them down (they appeared to be soldered from one side of the circuit board to the other. Well one of them had a small black spot on it and it was seperated from the other side of the amp...... I was curious if anyone knew if this amp was fixable?

I mean I bought a BRZ1700 to replace it, but I wouldn't mind fixing the kenwood if it was fixable.

Sounds like you are talking about a blown power supply fet I'm guessing if the amp will not power on. It very well may be fixable but unless you have the right equipment and knowledge on your side it could be a huge pain in the butt to get this thing going again. Perfect amp to practice on though. Wouldn't wanna try to repair anything too worthwhile for your first repair

The amp powers on... There's 2 lights on the 9105Ds, the blue decorative illumination and then the kenwood badge thats supposed to light up red above it. The blue illumination comes on and you can hear the fan running, and the red kenwood badge tries to turn itself on (meaning its trying to put out power) but it only flickers and then the red lights turns off.

Honestly if someone on here knew how to fix it or would give it a look, I'd pay to ship it to them and if it wasn't like insanely costly Id pay for whatever it needed to be repaired. I like having extra amps laying around in case I start a new project in my 2nd car.

Nope, but I could get you a picture very soon. It's just a really small silver circle thats in the middle of the circuit board, theres a good 7-8 of them on the circuit board. there's one that has a tiny black mark near it, and when I undid the screw the small circle thing fell off the board (the others didnt do this).

Because the others were soldered through the front part of the circuit board to the other side, the other one had become unsoldered apparently.

no not a capacitor

i know there's little capacitors on the board as well but thats not what im talking about

okay i reopened the amp and there's only 4 of these things on the circuit board. the one that is not on the board anymore has P1 written beside where it was... and the other 3 spread out across the board have "P2, P3, P4" beside them accordingly. I'm having trouble getting the pictures I took with my phone onto my computer to show you

well if you have the part and can get to both sides of the board solder that bish back! It's really simple to do just get good electronics solder and flux clean all parts well and you should have no problems, and as someone already mentioned there's nothing better to try your hand at soldering on.
