A few months back my Kenwood Kac 9105D got wet in my trunk due to a broken window seal, and I didn't know it had gotten wet and turned the car on and well it hasn't worked since. I mean no smoke or smell ever came from the amp. I can't even 100% verify that it got wet, but there was dampness around the amp so that is what I assumed. I took the amp apart a few weeks after the incident and I didn't see anything that look burned up... Except this one little piece of metal, it looked like a ground for the amp, there was like 8 of them on the circuit board with tiny screws through the middle of them to hold them down (they appeared to be soldered from one side of the circuit board to the other. Well one of them had a small black spot on it and it was seperated from the other side of the amp...... I was curious if anyone knew if this amp was fixable?
I mean I bought a BRZ1700 to replace it, but I wouldn't mind fixing the kenwood if it was fixable.
