Could anyone help a newbie select the right amp?

Hi everybody, I'm hoping to get some advice as to what amp would be right for me to put in my car. I've got it narrowed down to two different Infinity amps and I am just unsure of which one would be the right buy for me. I'm looking at the REF7451A and the REF611A .

I will be running only one sub a ten inch, I am right now debating between the Kicker Comp VR 10 inch and the infinity kappa perfect 10.1D.

As for the amps I am just unsure of weather or not there would be a great benifit of going with the REF611A as opposed to the other one. I know the 611A is more powerful, but if my sub is only rated at about 400 watts is the extra power really necessary? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

If you are looking to power just your sub-stage, then do not go with a 4channel amp. The topology is less efficient than class-d and it will just make things more difficult trying to wire a single sub up to a 4chan amp. There are MANY other amplifiers out there, maybe you should look at them. I thin khifonics offers something like the Brutus bx750.1, or something to that affect.
