correct way to wire? picture to explain.

im still new to the parallel wiring of subs into diff. ohm loads so if someone can help me that would be great. im going to get (4) 4 ohm svc woofers and i want the 4 of them parallel wired into a 1 ohm load.

heres somethin i have drawn. tell me if its right or if not any pictures would be helpful.

your picture is not correct, if they are svc then you need to connect all the positives together, and then to the amp positive, and all the negatives together then to the amp negative

This may sound silly, but if you have a DVC sub, then you would get a 4 ohm load through parallel. If you really wanted to go 1 ohm on your amp, could you simply use one VC from each sub, or do you always have to use both? I thought the ploy of DVC is expandability as an option, not a necessity?

Parallel involves combining LIKE polarities, while series involves combining opposite polarities.
