Copper, Flatwind, or Stock Coil?

Hey I think I may be getting a FI SSD soon and I just wanted to know the advantages and disadvantages of the different coils.

just got my Fi SSD not even a week ago!!

got 2 12'' w/ copper coil, and bp power.. just waiting on a ported box for them.. right now there in a seald box and they BANG!

The flatwound coil will yield higher powerhandling, and that is its primary purpose. If you aren't planning on insane amounts of power or SPL use, I'd get the copper coil.

When I click on the forum my computer doesn't do anything. Also whats BP power

BP power is a different spider pack which is a little stiffer and some cooling options to raise handling.

The copper coil increases the SQ because it adds mass to the moving assembly and thus lowers it's FS.

I personally would get the BP option and copper coil. But that is my preferance

That's because the link that's on the website isn't up.

The link to the forum is in my signature, BP power option is a back plate plug and some axial cooling vents machined in the motor, keeps the coil significantly cooler.
