yup highway patrol uses super cars ..in states like FL , CA, etc........so i have herd....

Haven't seen anything like that around these parts. Ive seen a corvette, it was crazy. Must have been the "cool" cop.

um in san antonio texas and aaround these parts they have everything from lifted F-250's and Excursions (that patrol the most common offroad places that are illegal) to mustangs to unmarked taurus's and crown vics..... i hate those unmarked cars, they scare the shit outta you when they turn on there lights

I was just thinkin about cop cars. I live in a small mountain town in NC. and it seems like the cops get a new type of car every month..... so far i have seen
Ford Crown Vic (the classic)

Dodge Intrepid

Dodge Durango

Chevy Camaro

List some of the weird cop cars uve seen

Chevy Lumina, Impala & Camaro (4th gen, and a late 80's IROC), Tahoe & Suburban

Ford Crown Vic

That's basically all we have here.

When I did coast to coast last year in the US, I seen everything from new Corvettes and Vipers to your classic Caprice.

haha cool. This thread got a lot of hits. Especially for the first day..... Sounds like most places have the same except for someone saying the cops rode around in H2's and stuff. thats pretty awesome

Theres a new unmarked intrepid intown. Its like a champagne color. Gotta keep an eye out for him lol.

I also remember when i lived in myrtle beach i saw like a BMW 5 series cop car. That was pretty odd but cool at the same time

Around here, mainly vics. Ex g/f's dad was chief of police, he drove a vic. Youll see some expeditions and stuff, SUV's not many.

On I-5,there are camaro cops. Thats all Ive seen.

the best ive seen is the illusiuons caprice cop car. i saw it when they were putting in 10 10" from the 2 18". thats also where i saw the 32" clarion.

there is no such thing in the california highway patrol as a supercar. we have camaro's and crown vics. dont run from the camaros though. they are pretty quick. not the bone stock LS1

on I-5 in cali, the speed limit is what 75? but everyone goes 90 and there like 5-8? lanes wide with crazy *** street bikers. the funny thing was, i never saw one cop my whole time down in cali. i drove from wash. all the way to mexico, not one cop.

theres a supra in florida, but around here they have f-250s jacked up on 44s to go offroading to bust all those rednecks who go offroading.
