Guys, were talking about a stock civic here. Talks about performance gains, sound, etc is pretty much useless. Getting this intake for your civic will save you money in replacing air filters, thats about it. No, you are not going to notice when you hit the gas pedal a performance difference nor will the gas mileage gains be terribly drastic. if we were talking about a sports car thats one thing, but we are talking about a car designed for maximum efficiency and gas mileage, not performance.

don't waste money ricing out your honda, you'll look stupid and immature to a lot of people

but if you really want to go faster save a couple hundred dollars and buy a new motor, i know plenty of honda kids that do their own motorswaps, you can probably find someone to do it for you on the cheap

since he's this clueless about cai im going to go 100% sure he's not going to do an engine swap lol he should just enjoy his 35-40 mpg and call it a day.

1st. Think about it. Is it really a cold air intake when its still ******* air from the engine compartment. Engines get hot, the air around engines gets hot, therefore its a hot air intake unless seperated from the rest of the air under the hood.

2nd. While its pulling hot air, its still pulling more air than stock. I have one in my truck and you can actaully here it when i first start it. It will give you maybe 1-3mpg but nothing extremely amazing.
