Convertible/Braxial/Point Source 6" componets

I am usually on top of things when it comes to componets, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for today.

I am looking for 6" shallow mound (2.3" or less) and convertible...meaning the tweeter fits around the woofer. The most common example is the CDT Braxials.

Let's keep the price less than $600.

Believe or not, I am still looking...although depth can be 2.5-2.6"

I have the BCK-26A braxials from CDT & love em'...I'd recommend that tweet in a heartbeat.

I'm running them active w/ the ES-6 mids & they sound superb. The ES-6's might be a tish too big...can you fit something bigger w/ the help of a baffle? Shoot exige a PM, he's very helpful & can fit you up w/ a mid that'll fit your space requirements & personal taste.

I currently run the 8" version of these;

The manual lists their depth as 2.75", so I don't know if you can squeeze the extra .15" or not. According to Memphis' website they offer a current version, the 15-MCS6, and they list the mounting depth as 2.52". I'm not familiar with the current version to know exactly what if anything is different other than the cone.

Boston Acoustics offers the Pro60 & Pro60SE which according to woofersetc.com might fit your depth requirements.

The Image Dynamics are too deep for your requirements.

But really, it wouldn't be very difficult to fab up a tweeter bridge for any component set.
