i just installed one of my subs and the amp. but the converter is smoking. could it be because i have it hooked up to the rear speakers in my stang and those speakers are amplified by a factory amplifier. i have the mach 460. do i need to hook the converter to some speakers that are not amplified. or what else could be causing the converter to start to smoke. you guys know what kind of converter im talking about right? its the one that they threw in with the subs because i have the factory head unit. or do i not need the converter. what does the converter even do. thanks for any help
