When installing an epicenter like the Soundstream BX-10X , is it required to have the control Knob installed or can you still use the epicenter without installing the knob. I read somewhere that without the knob installed, the epicenter goes into a kind of bypass mode. Is this accurate? Any info greatly appreciated!!
