connecting runs of 4awg

quick question, is there any good way to connect two runs of awg without a special link? I have almost enough to get to the trunk, but not enough.

Another way is i could have a longer run from the battery before the fuse, but how far is safe?

well the distance from the battery to the fuse is arbitrary.

as long as the piece of cable between the batt and fuse is protected and will not be damaged/shorted it can be longer.

you want to keep it as short as you can but making it a bit longer isnt going to kill you as long as you are careful.

solder the shiz out of the 2 together then lots of electrical tape around it or get a dblock then you can run multiple amps if ur lookin for a dblock hit meup

Could also do ring terminals and bolt them together and cover with electrical tape. Won't be pretty but it'll work in a pinch.

id go with a distro block that is shaped like a square, 4 gauge in on opposite sides then the other 2 sides dont matter

just put an inline fuse holder in the middle.. I've done it before haha.
