Connecting Power Supplies...?

Is it possible to parallel power supplies to increase their current handling ability? Im looking to make a few, but they arent too high on current handling and was wondering if it was possible to increase it without simply getting a bigger one from the beginning.

You might be able to get away with it. but you're probably better off just buying a bigger one.

what is it that you are trying to do?

You would need to isolate them with a diode pack to keep them from interacting and ideally you want to very closely match the voltages.

I was going to put a small amp in the house for a sub on my computer.

I see what your saying. I dont think it will need another, because the amp only pulls like 10 amps max, but I was asking just in case thanks. Hopefully my package will come in soon, so I can get to making it.
