Connecting direct leads

I am trying to wire up a dd 2510 dual 4. The problem I am having is finding someway to connect the 2 8g leads from the speaker to my 8g speaker wire. Went to Lowes but could not find any kind of connector that would accept 3 8g wires.. I know taping would do the trick but I am not trying to go with the crap way of connecting which may or may not last a week. Any ideas or known solutions??

no, don't use that connection from Lowes. install binding posts or even a 1/4-20 bolt with nuts and washers on the sub box to accept ring terminals. combine the speaker leads with ring terminals. you'll do this for positive and negative. this would replace any existing terminal cup as you would use this on both sides of the box.

sounds good to me.

Thx for the replys but let me try to explain my situation a little better. I already have a set of binding post on my box and it still want fix my issue. My problem is the leads coming off the sub are not long enough to reach the post's. The only way I could use ring terminals and connect the leads to a binding post would be if I installed the post on the front baffle and right beside the speaker. Each lead coming from the sub is only about 12". I need to somehow connect the leads to my 8g wire that I have connected to my post. So my problem is I need to make a connection between my speaker wire and my leads which can not be connected via post unless I just tape the post's to the inside of the box and let it somewhat dangle. Thats why I figured the connection I listed from lowes may wrk since I could make the connection directly behind the driver and would have less mass hanging rather then having a set of posts just hanging from behind the driver.

Focus - wish I knew how..
