Connecting Component Speakers to Amp

so i got some speaker wire so are there some connectors that i can use to easily connect speaker wire to speakers

Depends on your speakers. If you have screws on the speakers it's easy to just connect with just the wire or you can use spade connectors. If you have connector terminals like the pg rsd's then you will need to purchase some speaker quick disconnects

They look like this:

You can get them at your local Radio Shack, or the electronics section of Home Depot and Lowes. Speakers usually use two different sizes, for the positive and negative. I can't remember right now, I'm thinking 1/4" and 3/16", but I could be wrong. You'll also need to pick up a crimper while you're there.
