connecting 1/0 to an amp that accepts only 4ga

i've trimmed and soldered the cable down several times before, so you can still get the full wire ampacity right to the terminal..... and also used the fuse/distro method.... man, those under-sized connections pizz me off

and betternreverse yeah that makes sense about the long run that you say that.. i was just wonderin if i was defeating the whole purpose of the 1/0 by using 4ga to connect to amp but if its ok i feel better about it
