confused 2 sets of speaker terminals on a monoblock

i got a 1200 watt jbl monoblock amp which is stable at 2 ohms. im pairing that with 2 jbl dual 2 ohm voice coil subs. Im wiring it to 2 ohms but i dont understand why there are two sets of speaker terminals on the amp. any help would be appreciated with this. thanks

i had a jbl bp1200.1 with the same thing. its just so you can wire 2 subs into it easier. the outputs all go to the same spot inside the amp.
