What kind of room do you actually have to work with? Max dimensions. If you're wanting to get some low-end efficiency, there are a few woofers that really shine in low tuned boxes(28-30hz).

I seldom tune that high unless I have too, lol.

I have a whole Lincoln Town Car trunk to work with. I was gonna tune 4.5 cubic after sub displacement at 30 hz

It was to illustrate the point. Also, you went too far also. A free air BTL or any sub for that matter cancels itself like crazy. It most certainly wouldn't be louder than a pup in a nice box.
