Concerns before I buy alternator, please help

I have a guestion about Iriggi alternators. I know I have only heard good things from people who have them but just wanted to get more opinons.

1. He is very easy to get into contact before you buy the alt. but have any of you had a problem and contacted him and if so did he answer back quickly?

2. Have you had any problems with his alts?

3. Are these really direct bolt on? How easy is it to install?

4. More of a general question, In my car I belive I have a 60 amp alternator, 04 suzuki forenza, and the one I am looking at is 200 amp / 100 amp idle. What kind if problems could come up installing these? I.E. given that the install is done correctly would I ever come out and my car not start or something like that?

Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge will post their thoughts for you. I have never had dealings with him but I have read alot of negative stuff about him and the product that he delivers. Not saying it's all true but it is enough that I would be cautious about buying from him.

Although i had to wait 2 months for mine (group buy), i was happy at the end. So here goes:

1- i only called once and he answered the phone. He doesn't reply to emails it seems. He was very helpfull (on the phone).

2- i had somewhat the wrong size pully on it. His was wider than my original alt. No big deal.

3- i got mine installed by a mechanic. Some people told me it was easy to instal but i just didn't trust my self to do it. Quite frankly, i'm glad i didn't do it my self.

Cost me $40 Canadian to install. Hope that helps.

I want to do mine myself, but cant figure it out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bawling.gif.6287aa5d1d447c8af063fc9466e822ef.gif
Depending on the vehicle, The alt. is sometime at odd places ( Like under the engine). While i was looking at the guy installing my alt, i realized that i didn't have all the tools at home. It's not like it takes a lot of tools, but something to think about if you do it in your parking lot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have the tools, and know where my altenator is (top side of the engine), I just cant figure how to get that **** belt off.

Not 100% sure but there is a screw that release the tension to the alt.(basicaly it loosen the belt by moving the position of the alt.) But God! don't take my word for it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Someone was looking at it the other day with me and said since there is no actual device that controls the tension of my belt, it must be an appliance that uses the belt that is what you need to remove to get the belt off. But he could not figure out exactly what needed to come off. So now you say altenator... I shall give it a shot, after my 2 hour wait in line for gas tomorrow:crap:

There should be a tension pully on there. It should be the only pully that runs on the opposite side of the belt, on some cars yours may not be that way. It should have a bolt though the center of it. Put a socket on there and apply pressure counterclockwise. The arm that is attached to it should move allowing slack in the belt. I don't know what kind of car you have but that should at least get you started. Just look around the belt at every pully that touches it, you should be able to figure it out.
