concerns about foward facing subs and port

So instead of getting my cutlass all finished up soon, i decided to buy another car to drive daily and do what i've always wanted to do to the cutty..............remove the back seat and put a couple foward facing subs in a big nasty box with port facing into the cabin (box will be in the trunk). What i'm concerned about is will it still sound decent facing foward. Years ago i had a foward facing setup but it in a van and that was before the rear facing era began (yes i'm old and that was 18 years ago)

Now i will be using some badass 12"s...haven't picked them yet....and most likely 2 IA 20.1's...so i realize that with that much power i won't be winning any SQ competitions but i don't compete and i still want it to sound decent.

Anyone think there will be a problem?
