All of the Service Packs include the previous fix releases. SP1 includes all fixes before it. SP2 includes SP1 and fixes after it. SP3 includes SP2, SP1, and all fixes after SP2. If you would have installed the latest SP this would have never happened.thats not an SP2 update. where are you guys seeing that? its a update/patch to do with the wireless security or something. my xp disc has sp2. i have another slimstreamed with sp3 as well, but i only had the sp2 one with me.

I'm aware, but like i said i've used this XP disc with SP2 on it for many installs, including 2 just a few weeks ago and didnt have any wireless issues or anything. this is the first and only laptop i've had this issue with, so thats why i was like wtf.All of the Service Packs include the previous fix releases. That doesnt always work. I ran into problems before with program compadability with older programs vs newer versions and exicutable files. I started making a list of what versions work with what program now. I forget which ones, but some have to go to program storage vaults to find. This is why before I do anything with a fresh install I do all of the current updates //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
