It depends on how long AMD will keep the socket set. Yes, you can upgrade to a faster socket now and there is some time...but they change (Intel is well known to do this) but last I heard AMD was keeping the socket layout the same.Well as long as I can upgrade the CPU later then thats fine...
I had 4 gigs in my comp for a bit running vista 32 bit, read 3.5 gigs, when i downloaded service pack 1 it read all 4.I disagree. 32-bit will still "see" 3.25GB of ram. That is worth upgrading over 2GB especially running VISTA (which I would remove and put XP if it was me)
What? Check out the 8750 X3 Tolman. AMD is still solid. You will. But as I said, the AMD line hasn't been too good as of late.
I think I may buy this, what else would I need? A graphics card, and operating system? Could I use my restart disc for my laptop to put on Vista //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif , or should I just get a cracked version of WinXP off a torrent site? Does that bundle come put together or would I have to put it together? I'm not familiar with putting together hardware, just plug and play stuff and drivers like a video card and ram. Would I have to flash the bios and stuff like that? Thanks for the help.
