Good for gaming?

Not a bad deal at all. The processor won't OC so well, but I'm assuming your not looking to do so.

I still like the 8800GT over the 9800 but you can't beat that price either. Thought I saw a better price on 4gb of ram though ahhh...nm mail in rebate and you picked the same kind.

Yeah, not too bad at all.

It's not going to be a great gaming rig. The GPU is gonna be bottle necked by the CPU so you will never see it's full potential, However it is by no means a rip off at that price.

Not really a fan of the X2's... lately AMD's been failing hardtime... Back in early 00's they were the best. Now C2D is over the rest.

But, I mean, if it's all a package, that's a really good deal.

gaming?
Get a e8400 and 2gb of ram and call it a day.
x2

I have an e8600 with 2 GB of Patriot and a 9800GTX and it's teh BOMBz.

I spent $650 bucks on a new motherboard processor, graphics card, RAM, and a PSU with a 52-amp 12 volt line. lolz. (It can power a sub.)
