I got my new computer all setup and evreything works fine. But i went to put in my disk to install my dsl router and it wont read my disk, you can hear the disk spin and see the light flash for like a minute and a half.

Ive put in cleaning cds and evreything and it would play the cleaning cds audio and read the disk in windows media player. but i put in my router disk and it does nothing. Its not the disk there isnt a single scratch on it so do you know of anything that may be keeping my drive from reading the disk? thanks

i just put in my printer disk and it took it awhile but it eventually read it and its in worse shape than my router disk so i dont understand cause there si nothing wrong with my router disk

What kind of router is it?

If its a linksys (without that button) I understand what you mean, because my linkss stuff wont work right without their stupid programs.

edit: but thats wireless stuff. so, what kind of router is it?
