Just go CTX's man lol. 9/10 that hear em love em. Some complain bout the tweets being harsh, but I didn't think so. Now my Infinity Kappa's, those bishes are harsh lol
That's the plan.

I tend to ignore harsh/bright tweet comments on reviews unless its a really credible source that I know has a good install. Some people just like to say "bright tweets", I believe lol I cant remember ever reading a speaker review that some one didnt say the tweets were bright. Seems almost like some people shouldn't run tweets.

What's wrong with Cdt's Cl line? I'm about 2 seconds from getting a set of 6.5's and a set of 5.25's. The 5's are for a semitruck, and 6's for an Intrepid.

never heard em or seen many reviews on em, cant comment. CDT as a whole has gotten decent reviews lately though...esp upper lines

Id run those
They're smexy! Very beefy mids and free speaker wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have one of the coaxs playing free air in my room now. Sounds pretty nice for what I paid. I'm gonna go grab some of my Boston coaxs and do a head to head comparo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Those DO look smexy....
sound smexy too. I hooked em up in my room for a few minutes with about 175-200rms to the set (same amount they'll be getting in my car) and they sounded great! The midbass was solid and it took a lot of cranking to get distortion out of them, and that was only due to having no high pass filter on them. Full range, 200rms and it took volume of about 20 of 30 on my home receiver to get noticeable "breakup". Tweeter seems to be very detailed as well and doesn't sound tinny or unnatural....even has the "sparkle" of an aluminum tweet, that I like, even though its silk.

Almost 200 rms on your highs.... I am jealous sir. I love it loud and clear. Btw I got the Boston SE75's you recommended for my front dash. I'm pretty sure it sounds as good as it ever will with a pair off completely off-axis coaxial 4x6's, lol. They are powered by my oldie but goodie Eclipse 3640. They sound fine even though I'm certain I'm well over the recommended 40 rms that's recommended.... Thanks again.
