Compression rings??

Im trying to attach some Vibe CT0 Compression Ring to my 0 gauge, but every time i cut it its usually to short to hang over the metal bit or theres too much and it wont screw on properly. Also you cannot over lap all of the wire so what do you do with the strands in the middle, cut it?

You can cut it a lil too long, thats what they make heat shrink for.

This..and if you don't have any, electrical tape works just as good

pending where, sometimes it doesnt. only cause electrical tape over electrical tape isnt good with very much heat. tends to melt the glue and make it come off. only in some cases though. heathshrink is the best bet like they both said above already

heat shrink is a specially designed rubber that shrinks when heat is applied. it comes in different sizes, for different sized wire... it insulates the bare copper, and also helps add a lil bit of strength to your connection. electrical tape will do the same thing pretty much, just not as well
