Componet xover with a very high xover point?

You'll never find a midrange suitable for a 2-way component set that can play up to 7 kHz. The highest is roughly 6.5k, and even then the upper frequency response is going to drop like a brick if the woofer isn't aimed on axis. There are good reasons most component sets cross the mid and tweeter between 2.5 kHz and 4 kHz, mostly because of the huge compromise that is almost every factory speaker location.

im using a full range 3.5 driver that plays past 10k. I have an old infinity emit ribbon tweeter that doesnt like going below 8 k. I have to use a passive on my mid and tweet because I am out of outputs on my deck and dont have a way to run 4 way active. I use one to run high pass to my mid tweet amp, one to run my midbass and the last is on my subs. I was trying to find an xover because I dont want to try and build a passive.

Have you thought of running the 3.5" driver with high pass only and allowing the top end to roll off naturally? Then maybe you can just run a 1st- or 2nd-order passive crossover on the tweeters. This is just a wild suggestion because I don't know if this will provide adequate phase coherence and good frequency response.
