Components problem

I cant figure it out to save my life...but then again I'm not an SQ guy either, but soon will be.....stil learning..

I've got a digital designs component set in my car. Had them running off of a Memphis PR 100.4..2 of the channels went out and I had a BNIB Kicker 200.4 in my garage, I installed it.

Now, I cant get the volume over about volume 23, without the tweets and 6.5's popping....and my gains are at 0, with no bass boost..

Now I have the Alpine 9887, but I havent changed any of the x-overs or frequencies from when I switched amps....I'm stumped...

Anyone know what might be causing this ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif:crap:

Make sure that the crossover on the amp is set to highpass... and what Xovers are you using?

The DD comp x-over's that came with the set.

Amp is set to Hi-Pass, I'm stumped....and I changed nothing but the amps...when the other quit on me..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

So you have the HPF on but what do you have it set to? Should have it set to about 80-100hz. And your alpine radio has a HPF filter also to play with. And where is your bass set up at on the Alpine deck?
