component Tweeter Question

What is considered "better", soft or Titanium dome tweeters?

Ive seen some high priced components with soft dome (JL AUDIO ZR COMPONENTS)...

and others with Titanium dome tweeters (FOCAL UTOPIA COMPONENTS).

What do you guys prefer and why? I wanted some opinions cause Im not sure what to look for in some High-end components.

Actually Im not sure if Utopia's are titanium but Im sure they're some type of hard metal.

i'd rather have silk myself.

I run Vifa XT25's.

some people call metal dome tweet's 'harsh' or 'agressive' silk or fabric have been called 'laid back'

I think you can EQ either to make your ears bleed. Personal preference. I had a pair of JBL titaniums for home that I really liked too.
