Component System Advice

Just got the Alpine SPR 17s components for my front, I have them hooked up to my amp. Got everything worked out turned them on and I am not too impressed with the sound.

The tweeters see to be playing all the same lyrics as the woofer...any suggestions

Also, if I wanted to tweek the tweeter Db level on the crossover could i do that while the car was on to fine tune it? Its my first component speakers

Vocals cover a broad range of frequencies. This is why you should have the tweeter as close to the woofer as possible with component speakers if you care about imaging. To adjust the crossover tweeter level turn the stereo off while you make the adjustment.

Alright my tweeters are only about 6 inches away from the woofer, I'll adjust my tweeter level see if that works.
