Component Speaker Suggestions!

I want to replace my factory speakers and run them off of my head unit.

I do have a 75x4 Visonik amp I could use but don't know if it's worth it or not.

Looking for:

Front:

6.5" Component

Crossovers

Non-Titanium/Non-Aluminum Dome Tweeters

As for the back, what would you guys recommend, coaxial 6x9's or a set of 5.25" component speakers? For components, I would want the same thing as the front but smaller.

I would like to spend between $250-300 total on the speakers.

Do you guys think it would be worth using the amp?

A visonik amp, and 300$ to spend on speakers?? why did you get that amp in the first place?

I had the amp powering a pair of 6x9's in the car I drove when I was 17. Haven't used it in years. I still have it though and I figure I should either use it or sell it.

Turns out it's just a 2 channel amp. Worth using?

Where did you look, what prices did you see? I have not checked lately, but Ikesound.com had them a little cheaper. Also check ebay. It's hard to find what I would consider top of the line sound quality speakers cheap... those are the best w/soft domes that I know of right now under about $400.00

If you would consider metal tweeters, it would be an easy choice... Cerwin Vega V-Max-65 at onlinecarstereo.com
