Component set or 6 1/2 2 ways?

I'll be running the speakers off the H/U for lack of front stage preouts. Now should I just go with a good set of 6 1/2's or go with a component set? It'll only be getting around 20 rms sooo, You're opinions please. Also, What brand and price.

set of 6 1/2 speakers a componet set will bascially sound like speakers when run off a headunit.

if you ever plan to upgrade to an amped front stage it would be cheaper to buy comps now, but they won't sound great off HU power. If your not a front stage kinda guy coax's would be a better choice. As far as brand, go listen to a few.

yea x2, you wouldnt get what you could out of components off of a h/u, they would sound just like the 6.5's, it would just be a waste of money to buy a 100- 180 dollar set of components and get the same sound out of a set of walmart 6.5's,

a good recommendation tho would be a set of pioneer 6.5's, they sound pretty good with little power and kinda " try" to get loud

Thanks guys I'll grab me some 6 1/2's. I think I liked how the infinity's sounded.
